Textron Systems [TXT] said yesterday that the Army has exercised a contract option of $49.6 million for 65 additional M1117 Armored Security Vehicles (ASV). The ASVs will be manufactured at Textron Marine & Land Systems facilities in the New Orleans area. Textron has produced 3,161 ASVs for the Army to date.
