Thales-Raytheon Systems Co. LLC, a U.S. company, is leading a team of industry experts to respond to the United States Marine Corps’ Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) request for proposal. Thales-Raytheon Systems has provided specialized command and control systems for more than 45 years.

“Our solution for the Marines will provide mature components and technology that assures reliability and low risk,” Kim Kerry, chief executive officer, Thales-Raytheon Systems Co. LLC, said in a statement. “Thales-Raytheon Systems has command and control programs around the world. There is no match for our operationally proven results.”

Currently, Thales-Raytheon Systems provides the Air Force with the Battle Control System (BCS), the command and control system for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). BCS is the NORAD system of record.
