Navy Awards Bell-Boeing $545 Million MV-22 Contract Modification

The Navy on Tuesday awarded the Bell Helicopter [TXT]-Boeing [BA] joint program office a $545 million contract modification for MV-22 aircraft, according to a Defense Department statement.

The modification is to a previously-awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm target, Lot 17-21 multi-year contract. It provides for the long-lead production materials and the manufacture and delivery of four MV-22 tilt rotor aircraft pursuant to the variation in quantity clause in support of Japan.
