President Donald Trump last Friday authorized the creation of a United States Space Academy that will educate and develop the nation’s future leaders in military, civil and commercial space. A newly created Presidential Commission on the United States Space Academy, chaired by the NASA administrator, has 120 days to submit a report to the president recommending a governance framework, curriculum and degree programs, service obligations, process for selecting the location of the academy, legislative actions to implement the commission’s recommendations,…
