Tucked away in President Donald Trump’s controversial executive order last Friday suspending immigration from seven countries and a refugee admissions program is a directive for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to expedite the completion of a program to record biometrics of foreign nationals arriving to and departing from the United States.“The Secretary of Homeland Security shall expedite the completion and implementation of a biometric entry-exit tracking system for all travelers to the United States, as recommended by the” 9/11…
