TSA Launches PreCheck Passenger Pre-Screening Pilot at LAX

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently said that its new passenger pre-screening pilot effort has begun at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the sixth airport that is using the expedited security screening program. Approved passengers that are American Airlines [AMR] frequent fliers are eligible for the expedited screening benefits at LAX. Those expedited benefits may include not having to remove shoes, 3-1-1 compliant liquids and gels from carry-on bags, belts, light coats and laptops from their carrying bag. So far…
