U.K. Orders Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Systems from Rapiscan

OSI Systems [OSIS] says its Rapiscan division has won a tender from the United Kingdom Customs authority to provide multiple Eagle M4500 mobile cargo and vehicle inspection systems for deployment at strategic ports of entry as part of a process to upgrade existing screening technologies. The value of the award was not disclosed. Rapiscan tells TR2 that five systems will be delivered in June and July. Rapiscan says the contract includes a 10-year service agreement.
