U.S. And Allies Finish Another Pacific Missile Defense Exercise

The U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency completed the international Pacific Dragon 2024 (PD24) missile defense exercise with allies in early August. The biennial PD exercise is hosted by the U.S. 3rd Fleet as a way to improve participants’ ability to work together to track and intercept ballistic missiles. It lasted from July 29-Aug. 13 in waters near the Hawaiian islands.
