Unisys Demonstrates Multi-Vendor Interoperability of Iris Recognition

Unisys [UIS] recently announced it has developed an integrated platform that enables different types of iris recognition systems supplied by various vendors to work as part of a single system for identification purposes. The development work was done under a Pentagon contract using funds supplied by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
